Find a Place Where You Belong

We are a multi-ethnic, cross-cultural church gathering to worship, hear from and be nourished by our great God. Whether you are young or old, single or married, exploring Christianity or a lifelong church goer, you’ll be warmly welcomed each Sunday. Come as you are, regardless of race, income, fashion or culture.

Come as you are, regardless of race, income, fashion or culture.

Expect a Holistic Service

Jesus Christ is the resurrected Lord who saves the whole person, body and spirit. At Crown and Joy you can expect a service that reflects this complete work of God. We sing joyfully, clap our hands, kneel to confess our sins, stand in assurance of God’s love for us in Christ, and lift our hands to receive His blessing. This we do not in a robotic fashion, but in an organic manner that attempts to align the expressions in our hearts with our bodies.

Expect to be Fed

We have spiritual and physical needs. God satisfies both. Each week we gather to be fed by the reading and preaching of the Bible, as well as the Lord’s Supper and a fellowship meal. Come hungry! Come curious! God meets the spiritual, physical, intellectual, and emotion needs of his church.

Jesus Christ is the resurrected Lord who saves the whole person, body and spirit.

Expect Diverse Worship

We are a church for all people and strive to worship in a variety of musical styles. Expect to hear traditional hymns, neo-soul, jazz, contemporary Christian music, rearranged hymns and more. Crown and Joy does not canonize one cultural expression because our God has given Himself to all peoples.

Connect to the Past While Moving Forward

We are a confessional church. We confess the faith that has been handed down through the centuries while expecting to hear and experience God’s work afresh today. We are nothing without the past, but our hope is also expressed in the future.
