Jeraldine Otero was born in Alexandria, Va and grew up in Reston. She was raised in a Christian home and came to faith her freshman year in college. She was recruited and ran track at the University of Pennsylvania where she received her B.A. in biology, and met her husband Ben. She also received a certificate in genetics from the Medical College of Virginia. Jeraldine is now a full time homemaker and homeschool educator. She enjoys spending time with family, interior decorating, scrapbooking, running, and event planning. She and her husband have 7 wonderful children.
