An Article on Joy

By Stan Morton | September 29, 2021

Dear Saints,

There is a struggle we all have between biblical joy and circumstantial happiness.  How do we respond to circumstances that are dry, hard and/or traumatic and seem to never end?  This entry on true joy speaks into this challenge.  Certainly there are situations of clinical depression or situations that make us cry out to God in despair as many of the Psalms capture.  Yet there is this framework of understanding in His Word that opens our eyes to joy that is beyond circumstantial happiness that our culture embraces.

That is what this week’s devo is about.

May you be edified!
