A Life of Togetherness
There is only one God and he is a fellowship of persons: Father, Son and Spirit. The life that God gives is likewise a life of fellowship. Community is therefore essential to the life of the Christian.
When God gives new life to someone he unites them to Christ through faith and brings them into his family, the church of God. This beautiful collection of people is called the body of Christ and is a temple that God is building, each member being a needed part of the body and a living brick in the majestic temple the Lord is constructing.
At Crown & Joy we strive to live together in close community while always looking to expand the family of God by inviting people into our homes and sharing the good news of Jesus with them. Being a member of the community means committing ourselves to love one another as God has loved us in Christ, bearing one an other’s burdens in prayer and acts of service, having a meal together, provoking one another to love and good works, confessing our sin to one another, and forgiving one another as God has forgiven us in Christ Jesus.
