I am sharing with you the full letter from J. Alan Groves from which I shared last Sunday. Again, he was a beloved professor at Westminster Seminary when I was there, and particularly encouraging to the African Americans on campus. His scholarship was breathtaking and included foundational work on the Hebrew Bible. He died at 55 from melanoma cancer that spread to his brain. He is the father of J. Alasdair Groves, author of our small group book Untangling Emotions. Alasdair comes from good stock. I wish I could have shared this during holy week, but better now than never. Blessings!
